Privacy Policy

This policy explains how SuryaHub (“SuryaHub”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data when you visit suryahub.com, book a demo, or use our solar EPC software. We keep it in plain language on purpose.

1. Who we are

SuryaHub builds an operating platform for Indian solar EPC companies. For the data we collect through this website and our sales process, SuryaHub is the data fiduciary (controller).

2. What we collect

• Details you give us — name, work email, phone/WhatsApp number, company name and install volume when you book a demo or contact us.
• What you tell us about your business — the bottlenecks or requirements you share so we can tailor a walkthrough.
• Usage data — basic, privacy-respecting analytics such as pages viewed and device type, to improve the site.

We do not sell your data. We do not buy lists.

3. How we use it

• To schedule and run your demo, and to follow up about it.
• To answer your questions and share pricing or product information you ask for.
• To improve the website and our product.
• To meet legal and accounting obligations.

4. Consent and your choices (DPDP Act)

We process your personal data based on the consent you give when you submit a form, and to take steps you ask for before entering into a contract. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us — this does not affect processing already carried out.

5. Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers (data processors) who help us run the business — for example, email, hosting and analytics — under agreements that limit them to our instructions. We may disclose data if the law requires it.

6. Where your data is stored

We host customer and prospect data on infrastructure located in India, and offer on-premise or dedicated-cloud deployment for product data. Any cross-border processing by a service provider is done in line with the DPDP Act.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your data only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as the law requires, and then delete or anonymise it.

8. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you can ask us to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• correct or update it;
• erase it, where there is no legal reason to keep it;
• withdraw consent; and
• nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf.

9. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working and to understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

10. Security

We use role-based access control, audit trails and encryption in transit to protect data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep yours safe and to notify you and the authorities if a reportable breach occurs.

11. Children

This is a business product and is not directed at anyone under 18.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top and, for material changes, tell you by a notice on the site.
